I’ve been actively shooting for about a dozen years now but in 2020 decided it was time to make this my actual profession. Great timing, right?

Sports have always something I’ve shot a lot of over the years. Finding ways to make every athlete look like a superstar was a particular passion. But once I started shooting games all the time, I discovered something new. People watching from the sidelines can only see so much. With my camera I’m able to peer deep into the game and freeze spectacular moments of action or moments that show the athlete’s intensity and determination. Moments of raw emotion during a big win or loss. Parents of players started coming to me regularly and telling me how much that meant to them. So while I may have started from a technical standpoint of perfecting my craft, I’m now driven almost entirely by how those photos make the viewer feel. I’ve shot huge wins and heartbreaking losses and the response has always been the same, “Thank you for giving us those memories.”

I’m not strictly a sports photographer. I’ll happily shoot events, portraits, weddings, wildlife, landscapes and the night sky. So if you need a photographer for any of those things, please contact me. I offer affordable rates and will always try to give you more than you asked for.
